Former comic strip artist Bill Cable (1993-’97) and Linda Forbes Cable (1995) celebrated the birth of their daughter, Julia Catherine, on Nov. 16, 2001. Bill is a computer technician for the Patriot-News in Harrisburg, Pa., and authors a weekly comic strip at

Lisa Guernsey (executive editor, 1992-’93) and her husband, Rob Krupicka, have moved back to Alexandria, Va., after a fun three years in New York City, and are now bracing for the adventures of parenthood. Janelle Elizabeth Krupicka, their first child, was born on April 17.

Former editor-in-chief David Hallock (1991-’92) has left the Richmond law firm of Williams Mullen to serve as the senior policy/legislative adviser and deputy counselor for Virginia Gov. Mark Warner.

CDAA President Diane DeBerry Krehmeyer (editor-in-chief 1990-’91) and her husband, Dean, are pleased to announce the birth of their first child, William DeBerry Krehmeyer, on April 16.

Former editor-in-chief Dan Restrepo (1992-’93) writes that on July 27 he will marry Kate Tromble, whom he met while working as a summer associate at Williams & Connolly, LLP, in 1998.
