Life After the CD
After a few years in private law practice in St. Louis,
Wendy Brafman (‘91) moved to Washington, D.C., and worked in Congress.
She then spent two years working for an American Bar Association legal
reform project in Pristina, Kosovo. In April she left for Kinshasa,
Democratic Republic of Congo, to serve at the U.S. Embassy in her first post
as a Foreign Service Officer for the State Department.
Mitch Frank’s (executive editor, ‘96) second book, “Understanding the
Holy Land: Answering Questions about the Israeli Palestinian Conflict,” went
on sale in April.
Former Business Manager Chad Hall (‘96) and former Managing Editor
Sarah Lindenfeld Hall (‘96) welcomed to the world Whitney Elizabeth Hall
on Feb. 27, 2005, in Chapel Hill, N.C. She weighed 7 lbs., 6 oz. and was 20
1/2 inches long.
Dan Restrepo (editor-in-chief, ‘93) and his wife Kate are overjoyed
to announce the birth of Isabel Katherine Restrepo, on Nov. 6, 2004. Isabel
weighed in at 9 lbs., 5 oz. and was 21 inches long.
Former CD staff member Philip “Flip” Viles (‘66) is working for the
Interior Department in Washington, D.C., and Albuquerque, N.M.
